To design a retro-futoristic cruise ship for families with children is and was quite a task, but we see it sailing in a fleet introduced by DISNEY CRUISE LINE . Among the `streamlined me-too´ design, typically choosen, in the mass market a soothing eye candy. Especially for those loving the `old lines´. Actually to most critics the exterior design of the actual DISNEY fleet is named the most elegant, modern looking liner design - it seems to me a bit of  `Steam Punk´. Over years, in my early youth, the QUEEN ELIZABETH was shaping my mind for the perfect ocean liner, despite having made my first experiences with a liner onboard the HANSEATIC (1), ex EMPRESS OF SCOTLAND, ex EMPRESS OF JAPAN.
