Luxury - CRYSTAL CRUISES announces expanded collection of 2017 & 2018 CRYSTAL Getaways

CRYSTAL CRUISES´s continued commitment to offer luxury travelers more choices for luxury getaways, CRYSTAL unveiled an expanded selection of CRYSTAL Getaways - abbreviated voyages derived from longer existing itineraries - for both 2017 and 2018. This enables luxury travellers to shorten their buckset lists with CRYSTAL CRUISES.

All-inclusive cruise fares for Crystal’s 2017 and 2018 Crystal Getaways abbreviated voyages start at $940 per person.

New to the roster of Getaways are eight shortened segments of CRYSTAL SERENITY´s 2018 World Cruise voyages, exploring Southeast Asia, the South Pacific, South America, the Pacific Northwest and British Columbia, and the Caribbean. The global voyages range from four to 17 days in length, providing busy travelers options for luxury vacations with reduced investment of time and funds.
"CRYSTAL Getaways are perfectly suited to modern luxury travelers, whose calendars are packed but who relish opportunities to discover new cultures and adventures," says Carmen Roig, CRYSTAL´s senior vice president of marketing and sales. "These shortened itineraries help our guests make the most of their travel time, with the same standard of CRYSTAL´s award-winning luxury and enriching experiences, at a fraction of the fare of the full voyage."
Start of 2017 CRYSTAL had already announced the conversion of CRYSTAL SYMPHONY, which cost € 20,000,000.00, in spring under the name "Evolution of CRYSTAL Luxury". This is the first direct intra-group order from LLOYD WERFT Bremerhaven and CRYSTAL CRUISES, both of which belong to the GENTING Group, Hong Kong.

With this conversion CRYSTAL is the first luxury cruise company that is reducing its passenger capacity on board a ship, instead of squeezing in more passengers.
CRYSTAL SERENITY, which has been in operation since 2003, is scheduled for a similar major overhaul in the autumn of 2018, although this work has not yet been put out to tender, but it could be LLOYD WERFT again.
Combined with existing 2017 CRYSTAL Getaways exploring the Arabian Coast, South Africa and the Caribbean, the newly added 2018 itineraries round out a total of 15 abbreviated worldwide journeys. Guests can discover the glamour of the United Arab Emirates and the wilds of the African savannah - the bustling marketplaces and sacred temples of Vietnam and the famous giant pandas of Chengdu - the crystalline waters of Fiji and waterside jungles of Phuket - and the biological wonders of the Galapagos Islands and colorful culture of Chile.

    I love this place. I had an event here back in May last year and I felt like it was a perfect day for us! The venues in NYC provides you with an event Specialist as part of your package which is extremely helpful. Plus all of us dressed up only added to the entire ambience.

Over years, in my early youth, the QUEEN ELIZABETH was shaping my mind for the perfect ocean liner, despite having made my first experiences with a liner onboard the HANSEATIC (1), ex EMPRESS OF SCOTLAND, ex EMPRESS OF JAPAN. When leaning at the rail of HANSEATIC entering the port, my eyes where every where and I wished to by a camera, I took all in. And when seeing the QUEEN ELIZABETH with my own eyes, the nice behaving young boy turned into a tomboy, that my grandmére was no longer able to tame ... I did draw quite a lot of looks, back then. The PACIFIC MAIL STEAMSHIP COMANY was existing for "just" one hundred years and was in her heydays a backbone for the development of the US West. The PACIFIC MAIL STEAMSHIP COMPANY was founded April 18, 1848, as a joint stock company under the laws of the State of New York by a group of New York City merchants, William H. Aspinwall , Edwin Bartlett, Henry Chauncey, Mr. Alsop, G.G. Howland and S.S. Howland.
